HTC Magic Review – A Truly Magic Phone

The HTC Magic mobile phone is a phone that has recently been released to the market. It was released in May of 2009 in all markets throughout the world. Are you a person that is comfortable with the older 2G network; or are you totally up on technology and running with the current 3G network? In either case you cannot lose with the HTC Magic. There is so much that you can do with this mobile phone that you will not get lost or be out of touch in the least unless you want to be out of touch with the rest of the world for a little while. HTC Magic is as lightweight as it is useful and powerful. When you see everything that the Magic can do, you will not want to be without your mobile phone for any length of time. Some things you will really enjoy on this mobile are its features for handwriting recognition, trackball and accelerometer sensor for auto rotation.
If you are wondering what type of 2G and 3G Network that the operating systems works on, take a look at this: the 2G Network runs on GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and the 3G runs on the HSDPA 900/2100 in Europe and the HSDPA 850/1900 (in the American market for those that travel overseas to the United States on business or on holiday). That is pretty fast in terms of getting things done quickly. Speed is the name of the game when it comes to keeping up with the lightning-fast pace of business, life and the Internet; and the HTC Magic has what it takes to make the grade. There is no doubt that you will think and probably feel that everything that the HTC Magic can do is magic hence the name.
If you want a mobile phone that is small and lightweight yet powerful; check out these measurements. Its dimensions are 117.7x 55 x 13.7mm and weighs not more than 118.5g. The screen type is a 65k color TFT capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 320x480 pixels and measuring 3.2 inches. This is only the beginning of the features that HTC Magic packs into this small package. Making and receiving phone calls is only the start of what you can do with the HTC Magic. Whatever the number of names and phone numbers you would like to stored in the phone’s Phonebook you will not run out of room, nor will you not know who is calling you unless they are on a pre-paid mobile phone or simply have an unlisted number. There is also no limit to the number of calls made and received that the HTC Magic will store for you.
As far as getting down to the nuts and bolts of how the HTC Magic does what it does to help you stay connected to your business and the rest of the world. The WLAN or the Wireless Local Area Network is already there to give you a fast connection to the Internet and the World Wide Web. When you are making and receiving phone calls you can go totally hands-free just by plugging in you Bluetooth headset v2.0. There is 192 MB of RAM and 512 MB of ROM. Granted, this is not a great deal in comparison to your Desktop or Laptop computer; but it’s not supposed to be the same as a desktop or laptop computer has.
The HTC Magic has the Android OS that runs everything that HTC Magic can do. You can send SMS and MMS Text Messages as well as e-mails and Instant Messages pretty easily. The camera is a 3.15 Megapixel digital camera that has Autofocus built into the matrix and also functions as a camcorder. The Qualcomm MSM 7201A 528 MHz processor keeps everything running.
