Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 has been in headlines ever since the rumors of its introduction. It has all the standard industry features with some nice tweaks. The Xperia X2 is the first windows smart mobile from Sony Ericsson. The touch phone has dimensions of 110 x 54 x 16 mm and weighs 155 g. The interface of the phone looks very much similar to its predecessor Xperia X1; however, a lot more features are added to the interface including interactive and animated home screens. The large 3.2” touch screen is responsive and it uses resistive technology. You need a stylus to use the touch screen at its fullest capacity. It supports a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and it can display 65K vivid colors. The display and backlighting is very good in the dark. The standard and traditional navigation keys are absent in the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2. Instead, it has smooth and flat keys for navigation. The D pad is converted into an optical pad which completes the touch sensitive feel of the phone.

Samsung M8800 Pixon Review

Posted by phonehunter 27 February,2009

The mobile phone market moves at such a pace that new innovations are introduced with each fresh handset, and the Samsung M8800 Pixon is the latest to incorporate what is seen as the holy grail of camera’s – an eight mega-pixel device. It has a lot to live up to given the beauty and sophistication of the rival LG Renoir KC910 and others, but Samsung are no strangers to such competition.

In terms of looks the Pixon is akin to a number of similar devices, but does not exude the out and out style of the Renoir; however, it is a good looking handset if not spectacular, but it’s not how it looks that matters to most. With a huge touch screen – a necessity in phone design these days – and the black casing it resembles most closely the sister Tocco, and with lightweight plastic used to make it in the main it is a nice phone to handle with interesting dimensions.
